Originally developed to accompany a national traveling exhibit, Women & Spirit: Catholic Sisters in California explores the women whose spirited lives helped build California.

Exhibit content reflects the Sisters’ response to the times, and the social justice and welfare needs of the people of California from the Gold Rush to the present.
